Tips for Writing Analysis Notes Aimed at Band 7 and Above
In IELTS Writing Task 1 (Academic Module), writing effective analysis notes can help you save time when drafting your summary and improve your chances of achieving a high band score.
1. Keep it short and focus on the key points
Instead of writing full sentences, use short phrases. Omit unnecessary grammar and include only the essential information needed for your response.
2. Use any language you're comfortable with
Whether it's English or your native language, use whatever helps you write quickly and clearly. This allows you to focus on the main points without wasting time.
3. Use symbols and abbreviations effectively
